Player Development & Training Program
Our Player Development Training Program is designed specifically for athletes who are not rostered on a San-City Rising Phoenix travel team, but want structured, high-level training within our program environment.
This program runs alongside the regular season and serves as an introduction to our culture, expectations, and development model, while helping each participant grow confidence, skill, and game understanding.
Program Focus
• Skill-based training centered on ball handling, shooting mechanics, footwork, and finishing
• Basketball IQ development including spacing, decision-making, and situational awareness
• Conditioning and movement training to improve speed, balance, and control
• Competitive drills designed to challenge comfort zones and build confidence
Season Duration
• Runs concurrently with the travel season (March 9 – May 31)
• Does not include regional or state tournament participation

• Acclimate athletes to the San-City Rising Phoenix development environment
• Identify growth areas and unlock untapped potential
• Prepare players for future team opportunities and elevated competition
• Provide consistent, purposeful reps without the commitment of full travel play
This program is ideal for young ladies who are serious about improving their game, gaining structure, and learning what it takes to compete at the next level — all within a supportive, disciplined, and challenging environment.
